For those following Booster and I'm ashamed of those who AREN'T, we were left with Black Beetle having changed the past by having Grant Wilson the Ravager kill the New Teen Titans instead of dying in battle having been overloaded by his powers.

Black Beetle supposedly did this so that he may get Batman out of the picture both Bruce (who'd "die" in Final Crisis regardless) and Dick.

BUT. We then find out what Black Beetle had actually changed the past and why he wanted to create this altered timeline.

We find out Trigon who became ruler of Earth after the altered Terror of Trigon story (since no Titans would've survived to help Raven defeat her father) has kept a room full of trinkets from the heroes he's killed and one of those trinkets is...



BBlack Beetle then escapes with his time travel powers and Booster, Rip and Raven bail on the timeline but before leaving help ensure Kyle gets a GL ring to help fight on Earth incase they can't change it.

 

Cue back to the story and the whole Ravager versus Teen Titans battle now free of Black Beetle's interference.

And thus the real reason Dick embraced the cowl despite the fact that Batman never really wanted him to. Deathstroke told him to. Makes me wonder if there's any truth to those Slade/Dick fics.

So is Black Beetle now the Red Beetle? Or is he Red Black Beetle. Or maybe, Dark Red Beetle.

I wonder if Booster mentioned that line to Dick so he can prove his mission to Grayson-Batman later (as previous Batman knew, but new Batman does not).

I kind of hate how, after the success of the multicolored lantern corps, there are different colors of everything now: Speed Forces, Scarabs... What's next? Wonder Woman will find out that there are different colors of lassos with different powers or something?

Heh! I haven't been buying, until Ted comes out of hiding. But I picked up #24 just to see alternate-future Kyle/Zatanna -- which doesn't work for me.

The Trigon trophy room bent my brain. Clark with a big hole in his skull, Hal with his arm removed at the elbow. Was a little mad that Diana's tiara was on one shelf and her bracers and lasso on another. Was kind of amused that Trigon took the time to strip Flash and only take his uniform?!? In other news, I now hate Trigon as much as I hate Darkseid, which is about maximum for me.

Did they show how booster knocked out deathstroke? I'm curious.

Was it some future gadget? Or just the oft-mentioned but never done appearing back in time when your opponent is the least ready...usually in the bathroom

You know, I'm wondering if it is Booster who will bring back Bruce Wayne. To be fair we know Bruce is in prehistory. We know Tim is going to find the bat that Bruce was painting in the cave (where they found the symbol to keep out the antilife equation) via previews.

So I think it is going to end up having Tim running into Jamie who will have some strange recording of his adventures with Rip/Booster even though the memory was removed. They will find Booster and go back in time to rescue Bruce.

I know, long stretch, but come on am I the only one seeing the interactions with Bruce and Booster right before FC and saw that Bruce had gained respect for Booster, and that this would be the final way Booster could repay him for his faith?
