You may recall the last time we saw Mr. Bloom he was thrown into a singularity by Batman and Jim Gordon. There were a lot of him at the time, though.

This book has been a treat.

I try not to be too down on things especially when I post them, but - as fun as the book is conceptually, I feel like there's a lot of ground not covered.

We're three chapters in at this point and there's not been a whisper of a mention of either Bane or Man-Bat feeling uncomfortable about being dependent on yet another substance to keep them alive.

I agree, it's a pretty mindless story. Let's hope it freshes the undead characters' personalities soon.

That's Jason Todd. And not someone from Korugar (planet where Sinestro and Katma Tui are from) or Ungara (planet where Abin Sur and Arin Sur are from).

So much for a Mr. Freeze/Man-Bat team-up. Coincidentally, I've speculated various Batman adaptations could use Nora Fries and Francine Langstrom as scientists working at Wayne Enterprises. Francine is a sonar expert and Nora knows cooling/freezing technologies.

I see DC is writing themselves an out to bring Bane and Manbat back. Just need to take this Lazarus Resin to the next level and boom. The dead live once again.

Come to think of it, what good is an undead Bane? Diminished cognitive abilities takes away his brilliance and I doubt venom is going to enhance a walking corpse.

2) Why is Todd involved? (I suspect because he's effectively a fully-revived version of his teammates, but why is he going along with it?)

3) Who's the guy in the Batman cowl?

4) What's the deal with the lady observer? Twins? Clones? Split personality?

3) Arkham Knight. She's one of the Arkham family and she died in A-Day.

When he's with the Bat-family, he can't shoot guns or murder and just becomes another Robin in the crowd, When he's away he's just another edgy anti-hero.
