The Wrecking Crew break out of prison and start a ruckus to draw out Thor.

I believe this was the first time Thor had ever fought the Wrecking Crew. Thor had encountered the Wrecker before, just not the group. The Wrecking Crew first formed in an issue of the Defenders, but were defeated before they ever got to prove their might against Thor.

Wow. I hadn't realized that there was THAT big a gap between their creation and actually fighting Thor.

Always really liked the Wrecking Crew, especially with Thunderball's "gimmick" of being smarter than the other three put together. Though these days they've kind of turned into jobbers.

Thunderball has had a surprising amount of solo adventures as well.

He's got some really good appearances in a couple of the Damage Control minis, as I recall.

I can't help but love back when Marvel writing out character accents, even when they're totally absurd. Piledriver is from Jersey? And Bulldozer from somewhere in the South?
