Mizusu is great but it's when she bounces of Carol that things get really good.

The bits where it's hard to tell if she's the stupidest or the most intelligent character in the show.

Whcih is hard considering Jun and Tomo have roughly one brain cell between them that they have to time-share.

I'm sure there are plenty I'm not aware of, but yes, they're not common.

Well, this looks like a cute slice-of-life. My usual question: how's the fanservice in the anime and can I recommend this to my 67-year-old mother?

There are only four episodes out so far, so it is a bit soon to tell. However, there has hardly been any particularly noticeable fanservice so far.

I really liked the Tomo-chan manga. I hope you do too. The English localisation managed the humour and timing really well, I think. I probably should watch the anime too

I have only just started reading the manga, so I am further ahead with the anime. Thankfully, I am enjoying both.

God, I love Carol. But she clearly does not occupy the same reality as anyone else other than possibly her mother.

Or as a friend of mine put it, her head is empty, her heart is pure, her breasts are huge.
