Huntress is awesome. (Particularly when she beats up villains and not other superheroes.)

Context: The BoP are responsible for putting Yasmine in jail, particularly Huntress. When she's released from jail, she decides to get her revenge on Helena. So she sets up a trap.

For a little bit of unnecessary context, the reasons Babs isn't answering is that she's too busy dealing with Misfit.

Yeah, but the trenchcoat kind of ruins the prcticality for me. If it's leather like most of her coats, then it has got to get in the way of her acrobatics something fierce. It's like wearing a cape, but without the quick escape people like Batman and Robin likely have on theirs, or the invulnerability Superman or Martian Manhunter has. If that thing gets stuck ina door, Canary is screwed.

Actually, I can see the cloak having some practical applications. It would conceal her costume, when she was trying to be inconspicuous. It would give her an extra layer of padding, especially for when she was out on her motorbike. It would make it easier to carry weapons and gear, if she needed them. And it would keep her warm on those cold Gotham nights when the insulation provided by a single layer of silk netting wasn't cutting it. But you're certainly right about the risk of getting Dollar Bill'd.

Yeah, but as I see it, those benefits are mild comfort or convenience issues. The 'Dollar Bill' issue is a potentially fatal one. Even with Huntress and her cape there, you can tell that it's just held on by the crecent moons. If Helena put thought into the design, there's probably some way to detach the cape in split seconds. I don't see how Dinah could rig a quick escape on the trenchcoat. If she just wore a short coat and some pants, she'd get best of both worlds.

Kicking-Ass-Without-Getting-Coat-Stuck-In-Doors Fu is one of the many skillz Shiva taught her.

'Sides, if The Question can manage it, you bet Canary can!

Not really. Pop the button that holds it closed, angle her arms backwards and slip out.

And if it does get caught, it doesn't pull against her throat, like the Bat's cape.
