Love how in those early days, both Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man basically went "bigger is better" against the sleeker Iron Man suit.

Or maybe it was to suggest that they just didn't have the same level of modernization/miniaturization (TRANSISTAHS!!!) Tony did. Inferior Commie knock-off armor tech!

I think the idea was that the Soviet tech HAD to be bulkier. It wasn't a design choice, it was the only way they could fit the weapons and stuff in there.

They're hands. You don't wear shoes on your hands. "Titanium gloved" would be more accurate
