All day long, Kara/Linda is helped out by mysterious strangers who know her secret but refuse to identify themselves, until...

There randomly being an entire other Legion of Superheroes that are the children of the guys who befriended Superboy and they only ever interact with Supergirl is pretty funny, but it's also kinda why Crisis on Infinite Earths is going to happen.
Anyway, Supergirl goes with the LSH to the future, where it must be said, she has a number of experiences that are essentially replays of what Clark did in the future. Guess there's not much to do in the 30th century, eh Mark Waid?

This feels really unfair to all the contemporary applicants. "Hey, you want a slot? You'll have to compete with a demigod from the dawn of the age of heroes. You'll also need six years' experience and a graduate degree."

"Supergirl, you fool! Didn't you read the last LSH story in continuity? The underground is full of monsters!"

Ah, there's that other hallmark of the LSH: arbitrary rules they probably came up with, like, two weeks ago because this is a club for teenagers, but they cannot be broken on pain of death! Fuck you, Supergirl, you disgusting MILF, get out of here! Go!
