Remember when Sersi was fun? I miss that.

Is it any wonder Marvel handed the Avengers over to the Image folks? It not as if things could get any worse.

Ehh, Namor did it better.

It is endlessly amusing to me how much Marvel was pushing the Eternals around the time of the movie. Hell, they even got their own event. The Eternals seemed like they were heading for big things in the MCU, but now... not a thing.

Ironically, Sersi and Dane were my favourite parts of the movie.

Was the big push a Captain Marvel situation where Marvel had to publish an Eternals comic every few years lest they lose the rights? Gotta stop the Kirby estate from getting them back, after all.

Sure, Gillen's take on the Eternals had some blatant synergy, like Sprite being a girl or Makkari being a woman of color who communicates in sign.

And honestly? It was great. Personally, it was the most interesting the Eternals have been since Kirby.

The only version of the Eternals I could really get in to was the Gaiman/Romita Jr. Series.

That was the rare Gaiman book that left me cold.

Dane and Sersi aren't bad characters, but to this day I'm amazed how much air they sucked outta the Avengers during the Harris era.
