Having been mind, ah, whammied by the Cleaners and missing a Batgirl, the Birds split up to attend to their various mystery boxes and backstories.

Ev turns out to be a lesbian. Or maybe not--there seems like some plausible deniability there. Hmm... does the coloring seem amateurish to anyone else? Like it's done by some primitive computer? Because some of these panels look like facial features swimming in a pool of Clone Stamp.

You tell me, gentle reader--which couple comes off more like they have complicated lesbian drama?

Poison Ivy has a thing with this cigarette-smoking guy and... again, maybe just me, but I'm a bit frustrated that everything this comic offers seems to be either action sequences or mysterious backstory. (Okay, later there will be bickering.) I'd like some characterization, something to latch onto, because a lot of this feels soulless. There's a lot happening, but very little reason to care. And as a jumping-on point... yeesh. The most emotional dynamic is probably Dinah and Barbara (probably because they don't seem to have only just met before the first issue) and God knows how much of their interactions are even canon anymore.
Okay, that's enough rant for one scan.

They do that, bringing us to the next issue, which is all about the BOP deprogramming various Cleaners.

I'm pretty sure if you shoot someone in the head, they won't have time to stab you in the dick, but that's just an educated guess.

Is the team's first big adventure really the best time to do a "who do you trust?/we're all best friends!" story? It's like this comic can't make up it's mind whether this is the continuing adventures of the BOP or the team coming together for the first time.
Man, fuck you, Barry Allen.
