Wait, wtf? Isn't Valentina alive? Last time I checked, she was the White Queen of Checkmate.

I think she was killed in Final Crisis.

Her Wikipedia entry doesn't mention it; it's stated that she's shown under Darkseid's control in FC: Resist, but that's it.
