Never mind whatever this crossover is about, let’s check in to see what’s going on with Lyja’s baby.
I have no idea what the Starblast crossover was about. I tried to look it up, but saw the words “New Universe” and “Starbrand” and immediately lost all interest in finding out more.
It looks like the Fantastic Four and Namor issues were peripheral to the crossover at best. Most of the important stuff happened in the eponymous mini-series and the Quasar tie-ins. Both of which were written by Mark Gruenwald, so make of that what you will.

Date: 2025-04-01 05:29 pm (UTC)The Starblast crossover has a bunch of space pirates trying to steal the Starbrand off Quasar's girlfriend (checking the wiki, it just says she got it from Wendell bringing it across universes).
The Stranger ends up getting his hands on it, and moves the New Universe's Earth into Earth-616, until the Living Tribunal shows up, takes it off him and seals NU-Earth behind an impenetrable barrier so nothing like this can ever happen again.
(Apparently at some point someone moved it back to its home universe, and it was eventually destroyed by the events of Secret Wars.)
So now that we've got this egg, Lyra's going to stop talking about babies, right?
... right?
