On a previous visit to Jarella's world, sorcerers cast a spell that granted the Hulk Banner’s intelligence whenever he is there.

The Hulk rescues Jarella and escapes to join the rebels.

God forbid the Hulk is ever happy.

It's the 1970s, so superheroic characters just generally being wise-crackers was the general style, but... given later developments with the Hulk, it's funny that when Bruce is in charge he's a pop-culture reference making wise-ass, long before the whole thing about there being multiple personalities in there showed up.

So, was this a microverse thing? Or was that separate?

That was a Micronauts thing that was canon to the Marvel Universe, like Space Knights and Dire Wraiths, right?
