He matured a little, but he's still Bart. The stuff John's has written with him since he revival have been pretty typical Bart affairs while not ignoring that he's been in the grown up shoes.

Yeah, Bart still had his hyper-active moments when Johns wrote him--the one that best comes to mind was Adventure Comics #1, when he was asking Conner if he could blow up his "Dead Titan" statue.
