With a two more for the 'Many Looks of Black Alice' and, as noted on Twitter...


First up, Black Alice stops Catman and Deadshot from ditching her.

Meh. Not too creative, just like your typical female version of the character with a lower/more angular dip in the front of the outfit.
Anyhow, she obviously succeeds so they head to a strip club, another attempt to ditch her.

Obviously, again, that fails.


With Scandal & co. there, they try to address the issue of 'Black Alice is definitely not joining them'(reason for her wanting to in the issue, go read!)

And they continue on the path of failing to get rid of her.

Not the biggest fan of Black Alice but it was an alright issue, only wish Scott had been on the art for it. :\

Ok, so the strippers are, in this order:

Mr. Mxysptlk, classic Eclipso, Harley, Knockout, Mr. Freeze, Bane, and Queen Bee.

Also: Black Alice should be the poster person for power perversion potential. (try saying that five times fast).

Credit where credit's due: DC would sell tons more issues if "it has strippers!" was the cover blurb for every single one of them.

By the way, has anyone mentioned how Ragdoll has no genitals? Because I'm sure as hell not tired of hearing that yet!

Argh. Finally, the first issue of Secret Six I didn't like (and I'm counting all the previous minis here). Had to happen sometime, I suppose, especially when the streak has been so fantastic.

This issue had very weird pacing. I had to flip back and forth to see if I didn't accidentally skip over a page or two.

Okay, out of all of those, I think I like Mz. Xyzptlk best. She's really rocking the outfit there, despite being dressed as one of the least sexy characters in the entire DC Multiverse.

STOP MAKING KNOCKOUT THAT SKINNY, GOD DAMN IT! One of the hottest things about her (and Barda, for that matter) is how friggin' HUGE they are. Tall and muscular and bad-ass awesome. She looks practically anorexic in these pics. GAH! I wouldn't have even recognized her if I hadn't checked the tags.

I'm confused about why supers (heroes or villains) would go to strip clubs when they live in a world where their co-workers dress pretty much the same way. I mean, in a mainstream title like this, this is as naked as they get.

thanks for continuing on the Black Alice outfits theme. I love the punk/Victorian Banshee version, especially the earrings, skirt, and belt (though the face paint is a bit much...). whole outfit reminds me of this, really
