Yesterday morning when I first noticed s_d was gone, I thought, "Well, ain't that a kick to the head." Then I read about all the dramaz that lead up to and immediately followed it. I have some different thoughts now, but those have already been expressed better in other places by people who are not me, so I won't go into that. I will however post this single beautiful beautiful page from Thunderbolts #115

The ironic thing is that I just put it in storage last weekend because I was reorganizing and want to save space. I figured I wouldn't be needing it again since I already had the hardcover... *sigh*

This issue was, to me, Deodato's finest hour.

My friends and I actually took these scans and put them into black and white so we could just study the inkwork. Just, astounding.

I agree. I think the second panel is one of the more beautiful pieces of artwork I've seen. I want it blown up to a decent poster size and to hang it somewhere.
