X-Men #232: Proteus!

scans_dailyGreetings True Believers! Necrosha continues as a contingent of the X-Men battle Proteus on Muir Island. Here are a few bits. Spoilers and enjoy!

Proteus has taken over Blindfold's body and is battling the X-Men.
We flashback to 3 hours ago and start learning about Proteus and his plan.
Mags and the other Xers burst in and Proteus begins wiping the floor with them. He remembers Colossus.
Proteus has better control of his powers now.
Very Agent Smith.
Like I said, very Agent Smith.
Proteus kicks their asses up and down the island. Possessing Psylocke, Husk and Trance. Mags is his main opponent. One funny bit is that Magneto uses an unconscious Colossus as Rock'em Sock'em robot against Proteus.
Magneto declares that the final battle will be between him and Proteus.
I liked this issue, they referenced the old X-Factor/X-Force/New Warriors annual cross-over that was the last 616 appearance of Proteus. I wish that Proteus would survive Necrosha but I doubt it.

Date: 2010-01-28 04:43 am (UTC)change the dialogue some on the speech balloons and you have instaPr0n! i mean, there's purple sparkly electricity arcing from Kur's CROTCH. and he's sort of got an "GRUNTING WIF PHYSICAL EFFORT" expression. and blindfold's looking kind of smug. and rogue's head is...well. that's kind of obvious.
i smell threesome. :D
(...wait, is it a threesome if you're technically inhabiting two of the participants? o_O)
