I remember a backup in a Wolverine comic that showed all the times that Wolverine showed up and attacked Matsu'o and all the "parts" he took from him. It actually ended with Matsu'o not being attacked and wondering what in the world could have happened to keep Wolverine from showing up. It was because Logan was dead (temporarily, of course) at the time.

This yearly thing of Logan's reminds me of how every year Sabretooth always shows up on his birthday and tries to kill him. heh.

Seeing Mariko again makes me sad. I always liked her a lot and she's one of the few people paired with Logan that I actually thought was a good match.

I bought the first issue out of my childhood loyalty to the character and my LCS guys will never let me live it down.

It cracked me up that the story revolved around Betsy's disconnect with her original body and life, and yet when they split her face into past and present there is hardly any difference.
