I'm not sure what worries me more; Guy's knowledge of original series Star Trek, or his keen sense of psychology.

I, for one, knew the series was going downhill when they started adding more humans to the corps!

Yeah, it certainly doesn't fit well with the origin of The Entity. I haven't read BN #7 yet, but going by a recent post here, I'm guessing that the Guardians were trying to isolate Earth since the dawn of time. Hal was the first, which was an emergency due to Abin Sur's death, and then they just decided "Oh well, I guess a few more human Lanterns won't hurt."

The Guardians must have figured out that more human Lanterns = more sales.
