In the comments to these weekly posts (and only these posts), it's your chance to go as off topic as you like. Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.

The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.

Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.

It's been suggested that, if discussing spoilers for recent media events, it might be advisable to consider using the rot13 method to prevent other members seeing spoilers in passing.

In a rare piece of good news from the UK, automatic pardons can now be granted to anyone convicted or cautioned for consensual homosexual activity, under now-abolished laws. They can simply apply to have them "disregarded" and they will be wiped from their record.

It does behoove us to mention the passing of Betty White at the age of 99 on New Years Eve. Best known outside the US for her roles in "The Golden Girls" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", she a foundational part of the US TV industry for over seven decades. As some have noted, don't look on it as her not making it to her 100th birthday, look on it as her making sure she took 2021 with her.

"The Book of Boba Fett" launched with a fairly understated episode which answered at least one long standing question about him, and how he will treat his new role as Mob Boss of Tattooine.

For those looking for a little Star Wars background music in their life, there's a playlist from Oga's Cantina at Galaxy's Edge up on youtube.

"Spider-Man: No Way Home" has now grossed over a billion dollars US worldwide!

Doctor Who's New Years Day special "Eve of the Daleks" was a bit of a straightforward romp (even allowing for multiple deaths and a time-loop gimmick), which was a relief after the complexities of "Flux". Some nice one liners and some actual addressing of Yaz's feelings from the Doctor. Sadly, there was also a decidedly odd decision to have a badly shoehorned in romance develop between a character who did come off as more than a little creepily stalkerish, and the target of his affections, a woman who called him out on his creepiness, but was then basically talked over by the TARDIS crew who was sure he was just a good hearted weirdo, based on little evidence. An unfortunate narrative choice there I think.

Issue #2'd featured the Ten-Eyed Man being guided by his own map, and Azrael following divine leads.

Issue #3 had Dr. Joy, formerly of Arkham, following the Ten-Eyed Man's lead again.

Azrael, meanwhile, was following her as a lead.

He broke into her apartment. )
