I've always had a soft spot for him and loved his power upgrade (I adore magic superheroes). DC hasn't done anything good with him for years and then when they finally do he is killed off. So much wasted potential.
His ascension to king of Atlantis made me excited but it lasted maybe two issues before he was killed off during Blackest Night. I hated that, especially after his wife and son were done away with. I’m hopeful that he will be brought back but even if he is I doubt that he will get any development.
Here is Garth’s best recent moment from Titans #15. He visits Dick after finding and burying Dolphin and Cerdian.
