Inspired by bluefall's posting on Catwoman's Post-Crisis origin and how Batman influenced her, here are two pages from CATWOMAN (Vol 1) #94. The story is written by John Francis Moore, and the art is by Staz Johnson and Wayne Faucher. They do a good job copying/riffing/homaging David Mazzucchelli's style for YEAR ONE flashbacks.

"Sure, I remember what was here. I remember everything. I'm Batman."

Going back to YEAR ONE, it is pretty impressive Batman was able to outrun the cops, get the other bats to keep flying without his signal, and double back to buy (or rather, leave the cash for) a three piece suit to sneak out of the country.
Batman does have a "Ha ha! I win!" smile on his face on that last panel.
This doesn't seem to be Batman "inspiring" Selina so much as she wanted to know "what it feels like" to triumph over near-impossible odds. Oh, and steal shiny stuff.

I never really had a problem with Pro/Dom Selina but the whole inspired-by-batman-from-Pro-to-dress-like-a-cat-to-steal- was...a little confusing. But the way you put it made more sense and more fitting.

Is it just me or are Selina's boobs drifting apart? I've been building up an immunity to exaggerated anatomy, and yet they stand out as not only unrealistic, but unattractive. How very Balent.

Also, I wonder how many of her stories have Batman in them. And how it changes through her backup stories in... Detective, versus Batman, I think, through the Action!Comics!Weekly! phase through Catwoman Volumes 1, 2 (and is there 3? I don't even know.)
I think a certain number of my reluctance to read her stories have stemmed from writers trying to build the supporting cast and real-lifeness around her versus letting her be an awesome, intriguing through being a more ambiguous character.

Oh damn. He looks very Wade Wilson-ish there, doesn't he?
