Well, it seems that my Jon Juan posts were so popular that they actually costs me to exceed bandwidth on my Photobucket account. This hasn't happened since the internment camp post back on the original scans_daily. I'm impressed.



But enough with self-congratulating. Here is the last story in the only issue of Jon Juan:

Somewhere in time, Arion is sitting at a bar saying, "Oh, him. Don't get me started on that guy." Although he's a touch more likable here, partly because he works to help other people and actually doesn't get what he wants.

And the plot solves itself as if Destiny is his patron saint. I mean, the villain self-destroys so that he can’t even be accused of murder, and with a witness who happily announce having witnessed everything so that, you know, there’s no doubt anyone isn’t absolutely SURE Jon Juan is perfectly innocent.

Err... The witness was blind. Even if the villain didn't die in such a contrived way, no one would be able to prove anything.

Jon Juan has a Tibetan palace with archived mementos of every woman he's ever wooed? I don't know whether to hate him or be really, really jealous.
I can't help but be amused by that first panel. "Here I am, Jon Juan... in the dark!" I mean, I know it's supposed to actually BE dark, despite the fact that we can see her clearly, but it's still funny, because who the hell would actually say that?

'Here I am, Jon Juan... in the dark!'

'The whole garden is dark, senorita - you'll have to do better than that.'

'Very well. I am in the dark over here on the bench by the gate...'

*SPLASH!*

'...behind the goldfish pond. You did not let me finish.'

'*spits out water* You vex me, senorita.'
