Interesting that Static's original outfit was used here. Also weird, over in Teen Titans he was supposedly depowered so him in costume at all is a little odd.
Iris II! This'll be her first appearance as Impulse outside of Flash Rebirth unless I missed something.
And between this and Red Robin (in Tim's future Justice League) people seem to know the new Aqualad even though he hasn't been introduced to anyone and is still going through his origin story in Brightest Day, kinda weird.
And of course f yeah @ Blue Beetle, Miss Martian, Stargirl and Damian.

Date: 2011-01-20 03:42 am (UTC)he wasn't depowered. he still has his powers but they were very low. he needed to "recharge" sort of, and he wanted to do it at home. and i say the costume is a hybrid of both. you can see his hair. in the original he had a skull cappy thingie

Seriously, giving him the design they had for the animated series was probably one of the best things done for him in the comics. Baseball caps are worse than all the leather jackets on superheroes COMBINED.

as far as accountability, thats what the justice league and JSA are for.
also citizens can see something, but know the whole story behind it. an image tells a thousand words, but images without context is open to manipulation and interpretation

-Watch that neighbourhood closely and watch the Hero when he appears. If they are climbing out of a window chances are that's where they live.
Course big name Heroes like Superman and Bats can teleport back to JLA HQ in orbit which would make it harder... everyone else is borked.
Frankly even without the App a decent, intelligent villain should be able to crack Spider-Man or Blue Beetle's ID fairly quickly. Esp if they leave any forensic clues at a crime scene.
Surprised no one thought of this kinda App sooner. Also sorta surprised it did not turn up at Marvel first. Seems more their kinda 'thing'.
