(I still don't buy that the gold-stuff is photoshopped. Not on the legs, certainly.)

Dudes. It's a picture of a reasonably pretty girl wearing an imperfect Wonder Woman costume. Yes, there are lots of reasons to dislike it, many of them the same reasons I knew Superman Returns was going to be a bust the moment I saw Brandon Routh in the suit.
Look at this woman's eyes. This is not Wonder Woman. This is a college 3rd-year in a pretty good, but not canon-accurate, interp of a WW costume. Fancy-shmancy Halloween party stuff. That decision was made by the producers.
And that is why the new WW is going to stink.
One of the best things the producers of the Lynda Carter WW did was stay true to many of the roots and traditions of the comic. They didn't try to "update" her costume (apart from the WW on her chest evoking an eagle rather than an actual eagle, and that's been pretty much adopted as canon anyway) -- they ran with it. Given that the comic, and the series, was set during World War 2, the outrageousness of her costume worked better to hide her identity than Clark Kent's glasses ever could.
The vibe from this in every way is showing the producers' attempt to make it A New And Improved Wonder Woman. They never seem to get that that's not what we want. Pffft.
