I think it is important to point out this is the ad in the front of the comic.

Mr. Muscles is so awesome the the city invited him to show off for the public. Your taxes dollars at work, fictional citizens.

You know I really liked that first story. Ms. Muscles didn't loom over his opponent and humiliate him, instead he emphasized with his motives and offered him a chance to make better with his life. Muscles committed to his promise and the story ended with an excellent message that a healthy lifestyle breeds a healthy mind. It reminded me a lot of good Captain America stories

Remember, kids! Paralysis and disability are just other ways of saying NOT TRYING HARD ENOUGH! And it's okay for a girl to be tough! (So long as she doesn't look it!)

Well, she does deny being helpless.

Alluring, on the other hand.... (And, uh, my immediate reaction of, "wait, where are her muscles?")

Clearly it's okay for a girl to be tough, as long as she makes certain to prioritise the male gaze over everything else.

I have mixed feelings about this because doctors told my dad that he'd never walk again after he was paralyzed, and through sheer determination and a year of hard work at physical therapy he not only taught himself to walk (with a cane) but to climb stairs as well. He's mostly restricted to a wheelchair now thanks to advancing age, but he got a good quarter century of upright mobility and at least limited independence that never would have been possible if he'd listened to his doctors.

Kid Muscle has to be one of the less appealing names going, probably even worse than the valiant, if doomed, attempt to make Captain Action's kid sidekick, Action Boy", seem less... unfortunate.

What name did they pick? "Kid Action"... which just sounds like a NAMBLA recruiting slogan.
