I don't see Harper becoming the next Robin. If she does? It'll at least be something different than the usual 'kid good at martial arts, athletics, etc' approach which every Robin has touted so far. I don't see Snyder doing it, because I think even he is bright enough to realise that people might not particularly respond that well to his character taking on a role that other female characters could possibly fill. I still see her being more of an Oracle-type, frankly.

But.. At the same time, if DC are determined to shit on Steph and Cass, then I'd at least read a story where she becomes Robin, frankly. Because what Morrison's doing here just reeks of him trashing stuff unnecessarily, bearing in mind he didn't really have the idea for Batman Inc until well toward the end of Batman and Robin's run, meaning it couldn't have been part of his plan to begin with.

Eh, he originally planned to kill off Damian way, way earlier on in his run, so you could view this as a death long delayed.
