But then I noticed that there's been almost no Blacksad on Scans Daily, so if you have no idea what it's all about, here's some for context:

It looks like there have been four Blacksad volumes published in France/Spain.

Dark Horse collected the first three, Somewhere Within the Shadows, Arctic Nation, and Red Soul, in a single hardcover volume.

The fourth volume, A Silent Hell, has also been published by Dark Horse as its own book.

Well, kudos to you, spiroureporter, since I've had both of the Blacksad volumes sitting in my Amazon wishlist for some time now based on their good reviews, but I never really took the time to check it out. This is definitely encouraging.

I'll be honest, I really should know what series that last panel of the crossover comes from. I've read it, but I can't remember the name.

It's mentioned in the post I linked the image to, but if you don't want to click over there, I'll reveal that it's Sorcelleries by Guarnido and Valero (who happens to be Canales' wife). I don't think it's ever been published in English.

Ah, I didn't realize it actually linked to something besides an image hosting site, since that's where most image links from here end up. My old drawing instructor had the first volume of Sorcelleries, so I had a chance to look at it a couple of years back. Grand stuff.
