Perhaps, though "Stirred my cocktail" is a new one on me, compared to the far more common "pushed my button" or even "tickled my fancy".

I have no idea if he has or hasn't, but I don't see what that has to do with whether he is on this occasion. He's certainly never lacked confidence in himself, I'll say that for him.

I took it to mean his cocktail of things he likes, as opposed to his creative output. I hate Liefield's work, but I'm not going to disparage him here when he's done nothing but praise the people who've worked on these projects.

This. I thought he was ridiculously egotistical over the way he left DC (including insulting a now-deceased artist), but I can fault his attitude to these projects. The guy's basically used what goodwill he has at Image to keep them going, in some respects.

Liefeld's never had a problem generating unique turns of phrase, I say with absolute neutrality. So I'm going to exercise the principle of charity and agree that he's talking about his tastes here, since he's elsewhere described himself as a "lifelong Moebius geek."

Granted, he's also talked about his own "Moebius phase", so.
