Have to say, liked the Andrew scene (Though I did wonder if they might go for him being bi-)
Perhaps oddly the bit about "It was a big deal to me, and it helps I'm not the only one" is something I can recall for a while back, when I came out to one of my friends (one who hadn't deduced it yet). They reacted more strongly than I had expected (not negatively, just strongly) and yes, there was a strange moment of relief to it that someone felt it was kind of a big deal because the telling them bit was incredibly stressful.
Yeah. All that buildup within you of "Do I tell them? How will they react? Oh god, what if..." and then you tell them and they're like "Hey, cool. Kinda figured. Wanna get pizza?" and you're just "... well, that was an anticlimax." :)
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.

"Yes. Good grief, the way you were acting, I thought you had killed someone!"
