agreed. I gotta say, a Geriatric Batman vs an army of Kryptonians?

my money is on Batman no matter WHOSE book it is.

(by which I mean it could be a comic where said Kryptonians are portrayed as being 100% awesome, and Batman is the bad guy. as opposed to who is writing and doing the art.)

I thought the art was seriously ugly and Batman was more jerky than usual.

I'm like 90% sure Brian Azzarello is taking on most of the writing duties for this.

Looks like the art was mostly done by Klaus Janson & Andy Kubert. So the key to a good Frank Miller Batman book is to give people who aren't Frank Miller most of the dirty work.

I wasn't expecting to like this, at all, given ASBaR and Holy Terror (in contrast to Miller's earlier work, which I do enjoy), but seeing the scans posted here over time, I may just have to pick this series up.

I think he's in the Fortress of Solitude, which is why Carrie Kelly and Bruce Wayne were traversing through the snow in some previews.
