I wasn't planning on doing this but a few people wanted to see my USM posts cover Miles, so... here we are. Again, I don't know how far I'm going but I think I'll cover the first volume at least.

The issue opens with a flashback with Norman Osborn trying to replicate the spider that bit Peter Parker.



Miles Morales is entered into a lottery to attend a charter school.



Miles later visits his uncle who is estranged from his dad.





Miles goes into convulsions. Later...

I actually kinda miss the part where the cops, or firefighters say, "dude, it's cool that you did this... but you can't wear that, those are HIS colors" the respect they give Miles, and STILL give peter brought tears to my eyes

If not for the disrespectful element, I almost wish the out-of-a-costume-shop suit had stuck around for a couple more chapters. It has a charmingly home-made feel to it.
