I wonder if we will see Namor react to Banner's death.

I can see two reactions. First, Namor goes into standard "Avenging Son" mode and rips Clint's head off. (Clint is possibly my favorite comic Avenger, but he is very unlikely to beat Namor in a fight) Second, Namor calmly asks Clint why he did it... then rips Clint's head off.

Did I miss something? How will Namor be alive if he got his head blasted off?

Looks like Dr. Spectrum may have pulled him into whatever ghostly echo of the timestream she and Hyperion occupy? I'm not sure how changes to history work in the post-Secret Wars multiverse, but previously something like this would have diverged an alternate timeline where Namor disappeared mysteriously. (Basically this is how Dracula is still around despite being obliterated by Dr. Strange using the Montesi formula. The demon lord Asmodeus reached back in time and plucked him from a point prior to his destruction.)

I don't think it created an alternate timeline, he still got decapitated here, they just pulled his spirit/essence/whatever out before he was killed. Then they'll take him to the present and restore him to his body somehow.

Going by how Spectrum described it, it doesn't sound like restore his body. Just returning to the present will give him his physical body back.

Despite certain writers' attempts or insistence otherwise, Marvel never really had consistent rules about time travel.

Though there was a period were most of them seemed to be trying, to the point of retconning previous stories.

Yeah and that was even mentioned in Al Ewing's Ultimates. They mention the multiple forms of time travel.

Marvel time travel hasn't worked like that in years. The even explained that in Ultimates.
