I get the whole Monkey's Paw aspect of reality warping wish granting powers. But make a specific enough request and workshop out any loopholes and it could work

That was tackled in one of the recent(-ish) Hulk books. Tyrannus was in a debate with Jen Walters and Monica Rappaccini about making the 'perfect' wish from a wishing well.

He said that he's learned, in all his centuries, the only way to win that particular game is not to play.
