I feel like I could read about Maximus being a complete maniac for an entire series.
No Medusa, no Karnak, no Gorgon, just Maximus getting into hijinks via MAD SCIENCE!

This is Marvel. When it comes to comic events, they have a WWE-like ability to turn gold into lead.

You can't blame Charles Soule for whatever position on the mutants Marvel as a company may or may not have had. Plus he's writing the X-Men starting next month.

Yea. I like Soule, I followed his earlier Inhuman works, and due to the company's position I was really turned off on continuing to follow them.

Would depends on his opponents I think. How about Maximus and Kludge versus Forge and the X-Club on a madcap, Wacky Races style chase around the world for.

Maximus is great when he appears because he is generally used sparingly.

Problem isn't they knew it would happen, it's that they hemmed and hawed when mutants were dying because the cloud was 'sacred' and then had the audacity to act shocked when the mutants retaliated.
