So, what's next? Teenage Inhumans From The Past brought to the present to interact with Adult Inhumans?

The funniest part was when they did the title called "Uncanny Inhumans" and were like "This has nothing to do with the Inhumans replacing the X-Men" and pointed to 'Uncanny Avengers' as proof as the adjective being used on unrelated titles.

Of course the only reason why Uncanny Avengers were called Uncanny in the first place is because they were a post-AVX team of different Avengers and X-Men teaming up. *facepalms*

A person cannot say "x-men" anywhere near "inhumans" nowadays, I suppose...
I'm pretty sure he meant the atmosphere and the "before they were %coolnickname% they were %normalname%" vibe "First Class" dwelt upon.
And he's right, this series does have these vibes, and is really great, entertaining and touching.

I've had this argument before in this community, and my opinion hasn't changed: I see this "Marvel tries to replace X-Men with Inhumans, oh noooes!" talk way more often than any real "replacement" and sometimes even more often than X-Men discussions.

Well it's not happening so much now but I don't know how you could miss what was going on before. In addition to the huge Inhuman push to the point where Marvel made the writer of Moon Girl turn her into an Inhuman when he didn't want to, they were (per Chris Claremont) forbidding new mutants to be created as well as removing them from videogames and merchandise. Look at the interview with the people who did the latest "Marvel vs Capcom" game, they actually tried to present the case that people don't even remember the X-Men anymore.

And that's not even accounting for the Fantastic Four who had their title cancelled because of Marvel's dispute with Fox and half of the team were sent into limbo and the other half were shuffled off into other teams.

Fantastic Four is still cancelled due to Marvel’s vendetta with Fox so not changed enough.

“Legion” and “Fargo” creator Noah Hawley is developing a movie at Fox involving Fantastic Four villain Doctor Doom.
At the end of a Comic-Con panel for “Legion” Thursday, Hawley announced that he was developing a new film at Fox — one that he wouldn’t say too much about. “I’ll just say two words. The first one is Doctor and the next one is Doom,” he said.

Yes, theories. Are you offended by the word? A theory is an assumption based on some observations, a thinking that has some empirical support. It's not a synonym to "lie", "fantasy" or "ramblings".
I have theories of my own, too. One of them is that everything, including comics industry, is constantly changing. The link above has explanations to the cancellation of FF series after Secret Wars, that was in 2015, and I don't see anyone denying the toll of not-so-secret copyright wars on different characters.
Yet what I see is the return of Val and Franklin in the Legacy event right now, and I'm over-excited for the possible Noah Hawley's project, because his Legion Fx was brilliant. We also have Gifted ongoing, and Legion Season 2, New Mutants and X-Men Dark Phoenix in production, and ten ongoing or announced to start this year X-Men/mutants comics series and classic reprints like X-Men: Grand Design (while Inhumans have seven overall), and also my mobile fighting game now features playable old-school X-Men and an Age of Apocalypse mini-event. So, you see, I'm rather hopeful with my theories.

I take issue with the words of someone who actually worked at Marvel going “I think it’s pretty common knowledge at this point that Marvel isn’t publishing Fantastic Four because of their disagreement with Fox” being dismissed as a theory, yes.

Also Fox cranking out X-Men films (or the Doom movie) because they own the rights to the characters doesn’t mean much in regards to the Fox/Marvel relationship. They’re STILL not allowing merchandise for the Fox movie versions of the characters for example.

Then I'm afraid you have little understanding of the meaning of the word "theory", although I tried to explain. I'm also afraid it's very boring to argue with a person who simply ignores all evidence that they don't like, so I won't bother further.

Putting aside the questionable office politics that lead to this, this is the kind of entertaining work I expect from Priest.

It's just a quirk of the writer. Priest did similar stuff in Quantum & Woody and Black Panther.
