I have to say this series does feel fun. It's nice to see a non-mopey version of Thor Odinson who kicks ass and hits things with hammers once more.

And while I argued against the resurrection of Skurge elsewhere for Asgardians of the Galaxy, I am perfectly happy to see him here... because he's still dead,his sacrifice clearly mattered, and he's acting in character for a villain who found redemption in that sacrifice. As the next issue shows, he's happy with who he is and that's good. It's in a context where it makes perfect sense to use him.

And... Skurge and Balder fighting evil in Hel with a tricked-out monster truck.
I'm good with that.
