I'm surprised characters with that power set don't pull that move more often. I remember it being a plot point in that MODOK's 11 / Supervillain Team-Up mini and I think I remember Mystique doing it once in her solo series but those are all that come to mind.

We almost had two Jewish comic book weddings this year! I think this one will go fine, and Slott wrote the Thing series where Ben had his Bar Mitzvah so I'm not worried about accuracy. All I ask for is a scene where the Avengers, FF and X-Men do the Hora. Possibly while Thor, Hercules, Drax the Destroyer and Colossus strain to lift Ben up on a chair.

Seems unlikely to have been a last second thing, given they had a follow-on series featuring the people who actually got married released the following week.

Per the Writer of the new book featuring said couple, she stated that they plans for that wedding were almost a year in advance and the mini series that ended RIIIIIGHT before the wedding was laying down the ground work for said wedding.
