So with Venom getting his own film (to mixed results apparently) I thought I'd post what was in my opinion one of his better stories.

At this point, Eddie Brock was dying from cancer and had sold his symbiote and Aunt May was in the hospital after being shot by a sniper during the events of 'Civil War'.

I once had a t-shirt with this cover on it. Bit of a plot hole in how Eddie got his costume. if he's been hospitalized after a suicide attempt, I think they would be checking what he orders online or from a catalog.

... huh... so did Venom did anything to Aunt May... something that could better explain how she lived through that bullet wound that NO ONE in the ENTIRE Marvel universe could heal, but it was done when Peter used chest-compressions on a superhuman scale?
