Honestly it reminds me of what happened in the pages of Ms. Marvel a few months ago. Damn, now I'm in a quandary; if I thought it was silly in the pages of Ms. Marvel then logically I should find it silly here. :)
We have three blokes and one woman, and a costume which is routinely mocked for being unmanly, who do you THINK is going to get the DiscoWing outfit in a story this obvious?
So a cop finds one of Dick's bunkers and somehow breaking into it doesn't set off alarms in the Batcave, Titans Tower and wherever the JLA is working from these days?

Even if he can't access those memories he's a ridiculous security risk to let walk around, and even more to leave his various bunkers so easily accessible.
Fire department did, but he examined the scene since it was technically a crime scene (as in, arson). He reached the gear before the firemen did and hid them before they could find it.
Is it wrong that I like the concept? Don't get me wrong, It'll probably turn into another "vigilante fell off the slippery slope because killing is bad mmkay?" type story, but I think this premise could be really fun if executed well.
I could see one of them living, becoming a regular supporting character for the real Nightwing for a while, and then being forgotten about completely next time the creative team changes.
The other three will be lucky to make it three more issues though.
I predict them a short carreer. 7 issues, top. Then, one will die, one will become a cripple, one will go back to his/her old life, one will become, I don't know, Eveningfeather, and have his own series that will last for 30 issues, until Dr Manhattan has sex with Beaula Solomon-Zoom (a female clone of some future superspeed guys) and they birth a new rebooted DC universe in which all the Nightwings were all fellow kid trapezists adopted by the Graysons, and...

So which one of them gets the disco collar outfit? Please don't let it be the woman in the group...
