Not to be pedent, but shouldn't that be "descendant"?

Technically, it's correct. Descendant is the noun, descendent is the adjective. Usually, though, descendant is used for both because it's a needless differentiation.

Surprised the writer didn't mention that supposedly MK-Ultra was in charge of the tests that warped the mind of a promising Harvard student by the name of Ted Kaczynski.

When you know history, you're not so clueless.

I love how people dismiss things that happened years ago as irrelevant, when most achievements are built upon preceding work/ideas. Living in the moment is fine, but without a knowledge of the past, you're living a pretty threadbare life, IMO.
