(And yeah, I know Hawkgirl did the same thing in the Justice league cartoon, but A) they worked together regularly at that point, so I imagine Shayera had heard it enough to get annoyed by it, and B) Shayera actually has a compelling reason for being an Atheist and not putting faith in Gods, since her races first god was literally Cthulhu).

Honestly, while I understand that they want to save J’onn, getting into a fight over the godtech feels wrong to me. The Justice League wouldn’t trade lives like that
