SDCC 2019 - Marvel Studios confirms a new Thor in Thor 4 (Now with added other movie info)

Quite a lot of news from SDCC about movies, but there's one in particular which seems particularly exciting!

NATALIE PORTMAN WILL RETURN AS BOTH JANE FOSTER AND THOR!!!



Tessa Thompson will also be back as Valkyrie, who as leader of New Asgard will also be involved!



Anthony Mackie (The Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier) will face off against a returning Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo.

Disney+ Autumn 2020.

Newcomer Simu Liu will take the role of Shang Shi facing off against Tony Leung as the proper Mandarin, leader of the Ten Rings who've shown sort of, in various Iron Man movies.

Movie - February 12, 2021.

Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will star will star in WandaVision, and joining them will be Teyonah Parris, who is confirmed as playing the grown up Monica Rambeau (seen as a child in Captain Marvel) as the hero Spectrum!

Tom Hiddleston as Loki in his own series, what more needs to be said? :)

Benedict Cumberbatch is back as Doctor Strange, this time with Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch, in a storyline which will tie into her TV series.... Hmmm, given how Agents of Shield tended to be at the whim of the movies, but not vice versa I wonder how that synsergy will work this time.

Film - May 7, 2021.

Jeffrey Wright will be the Watcher in this cartoon series, with guest appearances by more than a few Marvel characters voiced by their otiginal actors.

Disney+ Summer 2021

Jeremey Renner returns as Hawkeye, but no word as to who will be playing Kate Bishop yet.

Disney+ Autumn 2021.

Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff, David Harbour as The Red Guardian, Florence Pugh as Yelena. Taskmaster is also appearaing, a good match of a character for a martial artist style hero.

Film - May 1, 2020.

Much to everyone's surprise, Mahershala Ali was confirmed as as Blade in a new movie.

Release date unknown, but if they've already cast, maybe 2020?

And in a really odd choice of licence, but I suppose they know the Inhumans are pretty much done, we have "The Eternals", with Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, and Angelina Jolie as Thena.

Film - November 6, 2020
