#2'd ended on one part of it going awry on the ground.
#3 opened on Deadshot reporting that the president of Bahdnisia, the American puppet elected in a rigged election, had been shot in the head.
He didn't mention that the puppet president's killers were his teammates, the Squad conscripts Osita, Wink, and the Aerie - still very much Revolutionaries.
The Squad's handler Lok was angered enough by the partial truth.

(The top of the page is the end of a " title sequence " with the creators' credits.)
Team A touched down in front of the defiant incumbent president's palace, where they were met by soldiers with guns.
Deadly Six and Jog stepped up to the plate - first, the former tagged them all with the sin of Sloth.
(He only does six because " weaponizing Lust would be icky. ")
The latter was limbering up meanwhile.
" Okay..

Out in Bahdnisian waters, Squad members Fin and the Shark were ordered to rendezvous with Team B, Deadshot and friends.
Fin decided to resolve his grievance with the Shark, the murderer of his brother Scale, first.
He drew blood from the Shark, then reached out telepathically to the sharks around them.
" Stop commanding them! Stop- "
" Please. I can't command fish..

Fin, vengeance gained, rendezvoused with the other Revolutionaries on Team B.
He drew them into their old telepathic link, capitalizing on his removal of the Squad's non-Revolutionary telepath.
' What do we do with Deadshot? ' asked Wink, considering him.
' If this is going to work, Wink, we either have to bring him or kill him right now. ' said Osita.
" What's everyone looking at? " Deadshot asked.
The Revolutionaries debated outside his oblivious head.
' He's scared. ' thought Fin.
' Of course he's scared. He's a prisoner. ' explained the Aerie.
' He's been trapped in this life for who knows how long.
' His freedom and humanity have been stripped away and he's been used as a disposable tool by faceless, uncaring masters.
' Floyd's spent years being sent against nightmares, and he's probably expecting to die. '
That diagnosis decided Osita: ' Fin. Bring Deadshot in. '
' You're sure? ' asked Fin. ' It's a risk. '
' Wink, if he tries to alert Lok, teleport his face into the wall. '
' Done. '

" .. we finish the job. "
The Squad joined up at the president's palace and made their way to her panic room.
Jog disabled the room's electronic lock by thrusting his vibrating-at-super-speed arm through it, opening the door for Deadshot to take aim and fire.
" It's done, Lok. " he said.
The Aerie stepped into the room.
' Don't speak. Just use your mind. '
' Y-you-! ' the president trembled, next to the hole Deadshot'd put in the wall.
She embraced the Aerie.

The Squad were extracted from Badhnisia.

Back at base, Lok was reporting to the one responsible for him taking Waller's place.
" You screwed up. "
" We had bad intelligence. "

Lok's superior readied a device.
