This looks about as uninteresting as the rest of Death Metal, but I will say this: framing Robin King and the Dark Multiverse in general as basically being Wally Sage from Flex Mentallo, dragging the whole of creation down in a fit of teenaged angst, is a neat idea.
I'm pretty sure the stories in here are one-offs that won't even have an impact on the rest of DARK KNITES: INFINIDEATH METALPOCALYPSE, let alone "our" versions of these characters. So I wouldn't worry too much... next time you see any version of Krypto, Streaky, Comet, Bat-Cow, Ace, or Beppo, they should be fine.
The stories seen here are like sure, whatever, but a couple of the ones not shown here are intriguing: a clever horror-comedy by Patton Oswalt and a surprisingly uplifting Steel story.
