Sonic the Hedgehog #24 — "The Last One Out"

Following on from last issue, Eggman has made Spiral Hill, hometown of Tangle the Lemur, his next target to gunk up. Sonic arrives in the midst of things to help the Restoration keep the zombots at bay while they rescue survivors.























Tangle’s able to hold off the zombots long enough for the shuttle to escape, but inevitably she succumbs to her infection and joins the horde.

The panels of Tangle fighting off the zombots as each punch and kick speeds up the infection are amazing. She just keeps going, forcing a grin.

And this still isn't the saddest one...
