Clementine is probably one of the most beloved characters in The Walking Dead universe so it makes sense that Skybound would want to continue her adventures in some capacity after the Telltale series wrapped up. The graphic novel series, however, has been met with a lot of controversy from fans; mainly, the premise that Clementine would abandon AJ and her new family (as seen in the Skybound X issue here).

Beyond that I just found this graphic novel to be... underwhelming. Clementine just doesn't feel like Clementine. The story is kind of drab. I think a lot of it is similar to my feelings for the Life is Strange comics, which is when going from an interactive audiovisual experience where you can make your own choices to a printed story where everything is also ready written there's going to be a lot lost in translation.

So they made a comic book based on a video game based on a comic book?
