Colin Farrell won a Golden Globe for his role as Oswald Cobblepot Oz Cobb in The Penguin.
This marks the third time an actor has won a Golden Globe for playing a Batman villain, the first two being Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker.

‘The Penguin’ just finished today. In my opinion it was a great show and a huge improvement over ‘The Batman’. Colin Farrell is great as Oz and deserves an Emmy for the role. He manages to be an awful person that you still have sympathy for. Cristin Milioti is also really good as Sofia Falcone. I’m a bit bummed this is just a miniseries because I would like to see Farrell explore the character in depth more than a film could by itself.
One minor issue I had was Batman has almost no presence in the show. I didn’t expect nor want to see him in person but just one mobster expressing concern that the Bat was watching would have gone a long way.
