Hey, they brought Mariam back. I wondered what happened to her after Baby Doll's first appearance.

She was such an interesting character in BTAS. Did she originate there?

Iirc, she felt a little odd there, like a Tiny Toons or Animaniacs character in the middle of all these Timm people.

Yep. Only one episode in the original series, but she made a huge impact. She showed up...maybe twice more in the second series where they changed the art style of everyone. Once where she fell off the wagon of sanity and fell in love with Killer Croc and the other...that may or may not have happened...was in the episode where Scarecrow killed Batgirl. Just a cameo...I think.

Didn't like the change in style for her.

It could be argued that her looking more like a Tiny Toon/Animaniacs style character fits into her overall character, an individual who through her medical condition, is perpetually stuck looking like a young child. For her, all anyone can see is Baby Doll, star of a somewhat popular sitcom. No one can see Mary Dahl the woman. Her job opportunities are limited, relationships ..well, thats a thorny issue to be sure.
