Love that.

I love this whole scene, actually. Especially Peter's moment of thought and then response when Jessica says "you're either an alien or the oddest man I've ever met."

This is why I like Bendis. Honestly, I couldn't give two hoots for his all encompassing, status quo changing events, but just give me a few talking heads panels, and I'm happy.

Immonen's art tops it off here. Spider-Woman's mounting irritation would come across even without any dialogue.

And it would be kinda fun to see a couple with a similar name/power set up. Because it's not like we can have that with Hulk/She Hulk, Superman/Supergirl, or Batman/Batgirl. (Unless it was Dick/Oracle..which isn't quite the same..)

Or at least a bit more that Pete and Ms Marvel. That one felt a little bit forced..But I could see Pete and Jess hanging for a while until his non stop quiping drove her up the wall! (To think with anyone else that's a just a figure of speech ;) )

Love the Spider sense line..And finally we get Pete justifying his stance on Osborne. Better late than never I suppose. And I bet he proves right in the end too.

We all know that Osborn is going to crash and burn in the end. They haven't exactly been subtle with that point, especially lately.

My beef with Peter taking the "just wait" approach in conversations like this is that it makes him look like he doesn't give a rat's ass who gets hurt before Osborn loses it, or who gets hurt in the inevitable meltdown. It's not true, because we've seen him trying to affect on the ground, but it still sounds no less callous.

Pete and Jessica are cute together, I can definitely see something but to be sincere they always ringed to me more like a sister and her annoying brother (or at least that's how Bendis seems to write them).
