1) She was cured of that when she was dipped in the Lazarus Pit.

2) Hello, Sin? (though I was wondering if that was intentional, and we were supposed to be thinking of her when he said that)

Later, Roy is taking his anger out on a punching bag when he sees Prometheus's face grinning. Screaming, he knocks the bag off.

What's with the title: justice league tag? That makes it sound like it's in the regular JLA series or something.

As someone who has been on a morphine drip (for medical reasons) and most types of heavy-duty painkillers, I'm not seeing how one of those types of medications even could be a performance enhancer. They make you completely out of it, groggy, and generally loopy. They can also make you not have total control of your body (since you're so drugged out) and borderline narcoleptic. Not to mention that they actually can and do cause hallucinations...

So, naturally, I assumed he was taking them because the strenuous activity of beating the crap out of a punching bag was painful (because, in all honesty, that should have cause the stitches on his stump to rupture).

I've been there, hon, and all I can say is: Yeah, this. Which is also one of my primary problems with House. I don't care how used to the drug his body is, popping that much Vicodin is going to make him a terrible doctor for the two or three conscious hours he has every day.

Me too, and the little I remember of me on the morphine drip was me mashing it again to get more in me to stop the pain.

And vicodin doesn't affect everyone exactly the same way. I get hyper when I take it for pain, oddly enough. I've had cluster migraines and so much pain medication in the past 20+ years that I could eat them like chiclets and be fine.

Vicodin always ended up making me physically relaxed and mentally 'focused' (I use quotations because it is only a relative sensation), and - oddly enough - hungry. I was put on morphine the couple times I was hospitalized and I was told I mumbled to my hand alot in between sleeping and staring out the window.

With the way I think the writer's going with this, if Roy gets a lighter, I imagine he's also gonna be getting a spoon to go with it...
